Scott at park with Uncle Tristan

Tristan took Scott to the park while Steven and I attended a birthday party. Scott thinks Uncle Tristan is one of the coolest people, or should I say he thinks Tristan is "Awesome"!

Scott at the park with Tristan. He had lots of fun there, and even found some other kids to play with. The party we were at was a surprise party for a friend of ours who turned 50.

March 16 - 25, 2012

Scott helps Grandma watch a Sesame Street video on the computer!

Scott's newest cousin! Lincoln James, born to Aunt Becky and Uncle Justin on 3/14/2012

Scott (right) and his cousin, Hanna: drinking buddies!

Scott's cousin, Logan, with Grandpa's hat!

Scott's Mama and Daddy watch as Scott shows them he can turn on the ceiling fan. Scott loves ceiling fans!

Now back at home, Scott plays in the wooden stool!

We clapped, so now he's clapping for himself! He also has one slipper on, and one bare foot!

Nap time! Feet hanging out the bars.

Scott at his "drive-in" restaurant!

Scott, getting ready to go outside, which is one of his favorite things!

One of his favorite places to play is the driver's seat of the car!

Stephen and Emily came to visit yesterday. Scott enjoyed sitting on his Daddy's lap and looking at the cool pictures on the computer!

Scott, having escaped during a diaper and clothing change, plays on Grandma's stair-stepper.

Scott works REAL hard to push the stepper bars down!

He loves wandering around outside. It'll be nice when (if?) the snow ever melts.

Scott and Grandpa found a barespot under some trees.

Scott, in the backpack, accompanies Grandpa (and Grandma!) on a walk. We wnt 2 1/2 miles this time, and traded off carrying Scott. I got the better end of the deal. Grandpa carried him back up the hill!

Scott supervises Grandpa bring firewood up to the porch and putting it in the woodbox.

Scott likes to watch Grandma do laundry in the wash tubs, but we had to take the chair away. He was climbing up and throwing anything and everything in the wash water! So he found another way to get up high enough.

And of course, he found a way to 'help' Grandma!

The picture way up above, of Stephen with Scott, belongs down here by this one. Emily holds her son as he drinks his bottle. I still love having the lawn swing in the living room instead of the couch! :)

Scott helps Stephen with his computer! I can't imagine what kind of marvelous technology will exist when Scott is a teenager!

March 7th - 15th, 2012

Krystina, me, and Scott, by the river at Riverside Park, Eureka.

Krystina and Scott on the walkway at the Historical Village in Eureka.

Steven and Krystina (and Scott) on the swings.

Krystina and Steven (who is pushing Scott in the stroller) walk along the railroad tracks, back to where Tristan was working.

Tristan, all growed-up and driving a Bobcat!

That white bag is full of pellets for Woodstove-style pellet stoves. He's hooking the cable to it so the crane can lift it up over the boxcar to be emptied into it.

During a break, Tristan comes over to say "hi".

On the way back, Scott got fussy in the stroller, so Steven carried him on his shoulders. He loved that!

The sun was warm on the hood of the car. We let Scott climb arond on there.

Next stop: Stein's grocery store!

On the way home Odie (the dog) looks hopefully for some petting, while Scott works on removing his shoes!

Scott still really gets into "book time".

The toy kitchen has held Scott's interest for days!

Time to help Grandma make a chocolate cake!

Emily and Stephen play with Scott on the trampoline. They came to help eat the chocolate cake! lol

Stephen impresses Scott with his jumps! He did a couple flips, too, which I got on video. Someday when Scott tells his Dad that he's OLD, Stephen can haul out the video and say "Yeah, but see what I could do when I was your age!!!"

I got these pictures too close, so I'll just caption them together. Scott loved the airplane swing but he wanted the empty swing next to him to come along for the ride! Then we played with the Tether ball, which he thought was fun, even though he had the wrong idea! He thought he should hang from it and spin!

After a while he'd hold onto it and then push it away hard, and watch it go slowly around the pole, then catch it again.

He spotted this dolly buggy and wanted it really badly. I put it on the porch, thinking he wanted to push it around. Nope, he wanted to play with the wheels!

I put on a "Blue's Clues" to entertain Scott, and he was sitting on the footstool watching it. Then he apparently decided he wanted to get right up there by the action.

He learned to make music on the xylophone. First with the left hand...

...then with his right hand! Ambidextrous...like his Grandma! :)

Huh. One of these pictures weren't supposed to be here. I wonder what picture I meant to upload in one spot or the other?

He just got his first haircut He did pretty good, but at the end he didn't want me to do any more. It still needs a snip here and there, but it's not bad.

This was primarily to get a picture of his haircut, since he was running around and not posing! He has a boot on one hand, and distracted now by the panlids in the cupboard!

There's a better picture of his haircut.

I love this one because you can see that adorable baby-cheek!

I had just changed his diaper and decided he needed different clothes. When I came back with them, he had gotten one of his shoes on a foot and was strolling away, hands behind his back!

He was making "motor" sounds with his mouth while riding his Firetruck!

He stopped to pick up a passenger!

Oops, road block! Gotta go back!

He was dragging around the baby backpack, so we put it on his back. He thought that was really cool!

He stuck his hands in another pair of shoes and was crawling around on the floor. I tell you, he does the cutest and/or funniest things! You almost have to keep the camera in your hand all day so you don't miss snapping a picture!

Barbara and Victor came up for "Game night" on the 14th. We played "Yahtzee", and Scott took my turn for me when I left the table for a minute!
