Dec. 27, 2011, playing outside

Scott loves riding in the wheel barrow!

We were just headed back to the woodshed, though I did take him the long way around the house! He looks back at me like "Is this all?"

We got out his new sled from Uncle Tristan and Aunt Krystina, and I pulled him on several laps down the driveway and around back to the house.

Scott thought that was tons of fun!

Scott likes to drag his fingers in the snow while we pull the sled. Grandpa is carrying him to the house while Scott samples the snow on his gloves!

Several times a day Scott takes us for "walks", holding our fingers and walking excitedly through the house!

Scott had been laughing and giggling so much he had drool on his shirt!

Time for another round of 'Race through the house"

After walking several laps he flung himself against my knee and stood there laughing and cackling!

Christmas Day 2011

Scott shares a laugh with his Mama!

The crate of wrapping paper made a great place for Scott to climb up and see what is on the counter!

While waiting for Christmas dinner everyone found ways to entertain themselves. Stephen played with the 'cube'!

Tim played with this Christmas toy!

Emily wrapped two presents she and Stephen had for Scott.

Scott offers to share his sippy cup with his Daddy!

Scott hugs and gives a kiss to "Eeyore", who is one of the presents from his parents!

I couldn't decide which picture I liked, so I put them both on here!

Daddy, Mama, and son

Scott holding Winnie-the-Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore. Stephen and Emily gave him Tigger a month or so ago, and now they gave him these other two to add to the collection.

Scott with one of the frogs Uncle Tristan and Aunt Krystina gave him for Christmas, and he's holding the mini Etch-a-Sketch Steven and Susan gave Krystina for Christmas. This Etch-a-Sketch is the one that we played with on the trip to Nevada last spring! It has history! lol

Christmas Eve 2011

Scott, asleep in is crib, cuddling one of his Bears!

Uncle Bryan and Aunt Kristina came up for Christmas Eve day. We played cards ("Pitch") for a few hours, then had spaghetti and garlic bread. After that we opened presents.

Scott was excited about that part of it!

After the wonderful presents were open, Scott found much entertainment in the box among the discarded wrapping paper!

This bear was a present to Scott from Aunt Kristina and Uncle Bryan. He kept hugging and kissing it when he opened it, and then pulled it into the box with him and hugged it some more!

Now he looks around to see what else he can drag into the box with him!

He made friends with their dogs. This one is named "Ice". The other one is "Nitro", short for nitroglycerin, because he was such a hyper puppy!

He reached out to pet "Ice" and got his fingers licked! I don't know how to remove "red-eye" from a picture, but the poor dog doesn't have red eyes! lol

Cat, Wheelbarrow, and Car

I took this picture myself, holding the camera out and facing it toward us. I'm surprised we were in it! Scott and the Cat sharing my lap.

Scott got his first ride in the wheelbarrow. I'd brought firewood up to the porch while he was napping, then since he was awake when I returned the wheelbarrow to the woodshed, I put Scott in the wheelbarrow with fleece "sledding" blanket! He loved the ride. His balance is exellent.

He's bouncing up and down on the driver's seat of his little car!

He's figured out how to make the car go backwards! Now we'll have to work on forward

Dec. 16th - 18th, 2011

We got a couple inches of snow Thursday night, so Scott got another sled ride! He loved it, and while I was pulling him along the road he was laughing and chattering and dragging his hands in the snow along the side of the sled. He liked watching the dog running along with us, and laughed at her, too! I took some video, so maybe I can upload that later.

Stephen and Emily came up Saturday. Stephen's hair has grown out enough that Scott can get some good handfuls! This is one of Scott's favorite places to sit!

Now they're having an intense discussion, sharing all their wisdom. That took about 15 seconds, and they were back to playing! lol

That's Emily on the lawn swing. I've gotten lazy about taking pictures, so I didn't get any of her with Scott. I spend too much time just enjoying visiting with them and forget about my camera.

Scott can climb up into Steven's chair by himself now. He thinks that's really big stuff! Here he has today's toy-of-the-day, the chainsaw. Still has to learn which end to hold on to!

What can I say? Cute as ever!

Scott and Grandpa practice building block towers. Scott actually tries to stack a block onto the towers before he knocks them over.

Here Scott is, trying again to set a block on the tower.

Grandpa and Tigger

Scott offers to give Grandpa a chainsaw demo. Same technique as this morning!

Scott tries to subdue Steven's boot. This, folks, is why you get your kids their vaccinations! Haw haw haw haw haw!

Awwwwww!

"I am BABY, hear me ROAR!"

Tigger has been Scott's stuffed animal of choice the last few days, dragging him around the livingn room with him, stopping now and then for a hug.

Scott is really getting into a 'climbing phase' lately. Here he is standing on his toy barn and fiddling with the handle of the gun safe.

Still standing on the roof of the toy barn, he holds the handle and reached up with the other hand to work the numbers. So far, he hasn't gotten it open. Just 2.4 million other combinations to try...

Scott admires the Christmas tree!

Scott wishes you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
